Hey guys I am trying to share a windows 7 folder (movies, music etc.) on my Atv2 and I can not seem to get this going. When i go into my workgroup and users(ryan) and it asks me for a Username and Password? Is there a simple way to share a Win7 folder on Atv2?

Right click on the folder you want to share in Win7, go to sharing tab, select "everyone" from drop down dialog box, then click add, then ok.

You may have to also disable password protected sharing in the control panel.

Okay thanks, yeah i have done the sharing to everyone part but yeah its asking for a username and password, so I will look into the password protect option tonight. Its weird that It only asks for a username and password when sharing from Win7->Atv2 but when i share on my home network from Win7->Win7 machines it doesn't ask for a username or pass.
