optical drive not mounting

yep its me again lol, I've done quite a bit of googling on this but haven't found much, I'm using XBMC 11 non beta, I cant get it to see a DVD, if I go through file manager it sees it, but it refuses to show the "Play DVD" screen that I keep reading about, I remember seeing it a few times when I'd had random disks in my drive, but its not working now that i wanna actually use it lol. one thing I've come across is this: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=132336 and on the last post someone notes about changing the home.xml so that that screen is always there, though I would prefer it to only show when a disk is in it, if no one knows how to make it do that, could someone help me change it so that it always shows up? Thanks.

What OS are you using? What is your computer's hardware? Where's your debug log (wiki)? Is it a video DVD or a data DVD?

Windows release preview, though i know thats not the issue as its run on it in the past Tongue im not sure what all hardware is relevant to this issue so ill jsut note the big ones...

CPU: (Sandybridge) i5 @ 3.10 Ghz
GPU: GTX 460 SE
RAM: 8 gb DDR3
2 Monitors running XBMC on my main monitor (an 60 htz HDTV running at 1366x768)

I have a feeling my optical drive is important but its old and I do not remember its model or anything, I do know its a writemaster though.

the DVD's are movie DVD's

debug log: http://pastebin.com/qfA3CSsJ
I knew there had to be one of these somewhere! Didn't think to look in the appdata folder though. Thanks for replying!
