I'm just wondering if there's any reason iOS doesn't have a snapshot build for August. I see the other platforms all have the 14th's build

There was some error or mix up with the builds. One was posted for ATV2, but turned out to only work on iDevices (seemed to crash a lot anyways). So there's either some unresolved issue, or the devs have just been too busy this month, especially with the XBMC Developers Conference (wiki) coming up this weekend.
This was also just the July build, but it got delayed to August 14th, so we're pretty close to releasing the August/Alpha 5 snapshot anyways.

Good news! TheUni was able to resolve this today and get the files up in their correct locations. July/Alpha 4 build for ATV2 and iDevices is now up.

Ah nice tried it for a while today, some wsop 2012 videos that made Eden stable to crasch after a while worked now.
