what is the best method to get full support for a skin.

ie

pal 16x9
pal
ntsc
ntsc 16x9
1080i

etc...

currently, all my skin has is ntsc. which apparent looks good on hdtv widescreen.

should i enlist the assistance of others? all i gots is a 40" ntsc.

if you always specify the <width> and <height> of controls, you shouldn't have to do anything. xbmc will scale everything up.

all the other resolutions might need is a bit of tweaking (eg hdtv can have more items in the thumb panel, or more list items etc). these can be done just using references.xml.

if you don't have these resolutions available yourself, then yeah, you'll need to ask others to check + tweak as necessary.
