Hi,

I have just installed Ubuntu on my O2 Joggler. I'm quite new to Ubuntu so I still have a lot of learning.

I have gone through these stages:

But I have got stuck. When go to install XBMC from Synaptic Package Manager I get this:


Does anyone know what I can do to solve this? Remember I'm new to Linux, so simple answers please =)

Those instructions are for a standard PC running a standard Ubuntu installation, so I don't know if they'll work with your specialized device. Did you not get it working using the XBMC for O2 Joggler distro? I see you posted over in that thread a couple of days ago. That's probably your best bet as that distro is customized specifically to fit and play nice with the quirks and limitations of the O2 Joggler. If you encounter problems or have questions installing and/or using XBMC for O2 Joggler, you should ask in that thread since it's monitored by the author of that distro.

Thanks for the reply.

I did get it working, however I need USB hard drive support as I plan on running this in my car.

I was hoping this was would give me more options. I may have to venture into a different frontend.
