Win [Solved] video mode doesn't use full screen
#1
hello, i have small issue with my XBMC. Main menu of app is using full screen of my 42" LG7000, but when i'm going to show some video (mkv, youtube, bdmv - everything) XBMC probably starts to use invalid resolution. The colors and luminance are not so nice too (when i'm looking on the video as the background of main menu everything is great). Here is the photo of the problem: http://img137.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc..._122_365lo.
I don't know if it is important, but my TV set shows the resolutions: Windows 7 (works correctly): 1920x1080&60Hz, menu of XBMC (works correctly): 1080p 60Hz and video mode of XBMC: 1080p 24Hz
I tried to change some preferences, but it didn't help.
Any suggestions? Smile

You'll need to set your underscan/overscan in your catalyst controlcenter. It needs to be done for every resolution.

1920x1080 @ 60hz
1920x1080 @ 50hz
1920x1080 @ 24hz

And so on.

Without knowing your hardware, it is hard for anyone to make any suggestion. You check out my post #19.....

>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

thanks for your reply, i've added that modes in 'HDTV support (digital flat panel)', but it didn't help. Actually i've added every options (also for 720p and 1080i). Here are my CCC preferences, could you tell me what can i change to solve the problem?
