Linux Does any Live XMBC editions support HD Audio (DTS-HD 7.1)?
#1
Hi,

I know that GeeXbox 3.0 has just been released but does any of the live editions come with DTS-HD audio support?

Thanks

at the moment i use Windows 7 with HD audio pack which works great, but i want a live edition which is maintenance free and just works without any hiccups?

Thanks

xbmcfreaks pre frodo builds support it.

edit: out of the box on linux only nvidia supports it. Intel does with a patched kernel, AMD does not

Supporting it yes but AE is still unstable. I set up my system today with ubuntu 12.04 and frodo and AE is somtimes working after boot and sometimes not. It is broken after stopping the lightdm service via ssh and starting it again.

So better use stable instead of frodo
