when i want to install xbmc on xp sp3 I get the error: CApplication::create()failed
I tried to install 11.0 and 10.1
then I updated the directX and still got this error
if somebody could help thanks

Make sure your video drivers are up to date. Also do not try to run XBMC over remote desktop.

Im having the same problem. I recently upgraded my hp pavilion to windows 7 profesional n. I installed windows media player and can play all my music/videos no problem but i cant get xbmc to run. All of my drivers are up to date.
