I don't have any experience with the E-3002. What you say about the E-Q6 is true. The E-Ix do a better job of cooling with the top ventilation.

do you know a reseller in Germany or elsewhere in the EU that has the E-Ix series?

Just received my i7 from them They're very fast, and if you need an AC adapter upgrade (to 84W or 120W) you can email them, they only charge 5€ (10€ if you go from 60W to 120W).

What do you think of the E-i7?

Personally, I think everyone's better off getting them from the USA Smile Smile Smile.

That is crazy. I love Lian-Li but they've gone off the deep end.

Thank you for that link. For some reason perfecthometheater.com canceled my order.
Since you can´t recommened the E-i7 enough and it would be less than half the price of the
ITX1 cause of the shipping costs i´m considering ordering one.

What PSU-Power and CPU Cooler would you recommend for the use of a
A10-5700 in the E-i7?
PicoPSU-120 + Universal 12V / 10A ext. power adapter, 120Watt
and NT07-AM2 (Edit: FM2 Sockel isn´t listed :/) enough?

I'm still missing some pieces, so I couldn't test it yet. It looks far better than in the pictures though (silver version), and installation so far (mb, hdds) was surpisingly easy. It still has to pass the final heat test Wink

From what I've read here, the included PSU is pretty decent too, so I'd stick with that and just upgrade the ac adapter for 5€. Don't worry about the CPU socket, AM2/AM3/FM1/FM2 are all compatible cooler-wise. I'll probably get that one too because there's very little space between the stock cooler and the 3.5 hdds. But if you're not using a 3.5 hdd, it might be worth giving the stock cooler a try I think.

Thanks for your answer taurose.
I will only put one 2,5" Drive (Samsung 830) in the case. Maybe even velcro it to the side to have more space
Without a OpticalDrive, what is the maximum height for a CPU-Cooler?
Do you think it would be possible to upgrade the USB-Ports on the side with something like this. Without the slot bracket of course.
Did you use low profile RAM?

The Scythe Kozuti will also fit in the E-i7 if you want something bigger. That's with the optical drive installed and SSD installed on the side of the case. I just don't know if it'll block/interfere with the memory or expansion slot. I have a A10-5700 and Kozuti I am going to put together in an E-i7 today It's only 3mm taller than the NT07-AM2 so I think it'll fit in the E-i5 as well. The NT07-AM2 and Kozuti both have 80mm fans so I am not expecting a huge difference in cooling without a case fan.

If you remove the optical drive tray, you have around 60mm or so, maybe a little more, so a Scythe Shuriken will fit. It will block the expansion slot however

The side USB/audio board is all one piece so it would take some creative modding to get that done. You could do it though. It would not fit perfectly. This is coming in the future they are testing it now: http://www.minicase.net/article_204.html. I just don't know when.

It's not necessary, though it depends mostly on the cooler. I use Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866 in all the E-i5/i7 AMD barebones builds.

That is great news, had the Scythe Big Shuriken 2 Rev. B in my former HTPC.
I hope the Scythe Shuriken Rev.B is just as good.

Again you are a wellspring of good information Wink. This cable is very cheap, will try to fit it in there, if I fail I can wait for the official upgrade kit.
Looking forward to hear how your A10-5700 build is performing Blush

Can anyone give me a reason to not choose the Realan E-i3 above the Realan E-i5? It's a little less in height? And looks really nice in alu?

You lose 15mm in height (60mm vs. 75mm) limiting any build to a 1U (28mm) CPU cooler. So, it depends on what component you are using.
