I'd like to have the option to start in a certain library depending on a command line option.

For example,

"xbmc.exe /tv" to start in the TV show library
"xbmc.exe /movie" to start in the movie library
"xbmc.exe /music" to start in the music library

The reason is that XBMC is not on a dedicated computer and therefore is not always running; I'd like to be able to start XBMC from a remote without having to go through the home menu first; i.e, I could just hit the TV show button on my remote and be ready to go even if XBMC is not already running.

This should be totally possible via some kind of script/macro with something like Event Ghost (wiki).

It is possible in event ghost, but requires macros which are prone to error. A command line option would remove that doubt.
