Hello,

it seems that the iOS pvr-addons in the latest Frodo nightlies still have not been updated.
Who is the packager that should be informed about this issue?

I got the latest XBMC Frodo nightly on my iPad2:
Code:
cd /tmp
wget http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/darwin/ios/xbmc-20121122-80c5ec2-master-ios.deb
dpkg -i xbmc*.deb

I also compiled the latest vdr-vnsiserver from your repository:
Code:
git clone https://github.com/FernetMenta/xbmc-pvr-addons.git
...

But I still get the errors mentioned earlier by hre1:
Code:
vdr: [3617] VNSI: Welcome client 'XBMC Media Center' with protocol version '2'
vdr: [3617] VNSI-Error: Client 'XBMC Media Center' have a not allowed protocol version '2', terminating client

latest revision in iOS repo of pvr clients is: https://github.com/opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr-ad...455865b2d6

Dependency version was not bumped after Nov 10th for darwin. Will ping opdenkamp.

In the meantime you can checkout this revision of vdr-plugin-vnsiserver: git checkout sha

Hello there,

I'm using xbmc for android with vnsiserver-plugin at vdr-server. I'm using one of the latest nightly builds from 12/07/12. VNSI-Plugin in xbmc is now starting, but can't connect to vdr. vdr tells me in syslog:
VNSI-Error: Client 'XBMC Media Center' have a not allowed protocol version '3', terminating client

Am I right, I got the vnsiserver-plugin at the vdr-server yet but there is still the old vnsi-client in xbmc for android?

Any hints are welcome!

Where did you get the vdr-plugin-vnsiserver from? The XBMC vnsi addon is newer than the vdr plugin.

I'm using the yavdr-repo, updated yesterday. It seems they already used the latest sources. As I read in vdr-portal, most of the guys in the past had the problem with protocol version 2, but since last week there occurs the error with protocol version 3.
