My original hope was to build an htpc that can possibly play 3d blu ray. I have an ati 5450, and am leaning towards buying a Intel G530 and hope the combo of them will allow me to do 3d. Now I am thinking of just returning the 5450 and just using a G530 and skipping 3d all together.
My question is how much will I benefit from having a 5450 with the G530? It's said that the 5450 can do 3d, but I have not seen a post from a 5450 user who has actually done it. So should I keep the 5450 for future 3d or just stay with the G530 and know that 2d 1080p will be fine.
