Hi,
I new to XBMC, so please forgive me if my questions....
I just discovered XBMC and I must say, I want to get rid of my AD Ryan mini2. icm wiht my iPad, XBMC really rocks.
I am a huge TV Series fan, so this is great.
Anyway, I think a Zotac nano AD12 is just perfect for XBMC. But I have some questions about audio.
I have an older receiver, with no HDMI inputs, only opticall and coax.
So HDMI via the XBMC/Zotac to the TV is only used for the stereo sound. (the kids don't mind that)
So I want to use the mini-optical spdif on the Zotac for sound going to my receiver.
But.....do I have al the possible sound options then? Like 5.1, DTS, HD audio, etc?
As for some codecs producers of mediaplayers have to buy the license.....
Does XBMC handle all those sounds anyway? (more for the future when I will buy a receiver with HDMI.
Thanks!
