AMD Radeon HD 6310
#1
I am planning to build an XBMC HTPC and I would like to collect some suggestion.

I found a very cheap soultion (Mobo + CPU with internal GPU < 80 euros)

AMD Dual-Core E350 1,6 GHz - Chipset AMD Hudson-M1
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6310

A ION system has more or less the same price. In principle it seems to me that the AMD solution is preferable. Is it correct?

Looking at the posts in this forum, this solution seems enough powerful to decode full HD movies.
I use as a reference the Planet Earth "From pole to pole" sequence.
I found that during the H.264 decoding of the scene with thousands of birds the most part of the devices I tested exhibits motion artifacts.
I wonder if this hardware would be capable of decode this in an acceptable way.

Moreover aprat from HDMI, I would need an S-video output, how cai I get it? I have a GeForce9500GT available at home, maybe I can use it since the Motherboard has a PCIe available but I don't know if the management of the two GPU by XBMC is painless...

Many questions....thank you.
