Linux won't play movies by selecting in favorites/share
#1
I'm a newbie to XBMC and I'm trying to setup the best possible config for XBMC so my wife and kids can use XBMC without guidness.
For the kids I have a folder on a NAS with their movies in it.
For my wife I have a folder on the same NAS with the romantic stuff in it.

I have tried BackRow and AEON skin, while they are customisable for the home menu and the submenus

I created shares to both folders and made them favorites.
Next I created new custom home buttons linked to the favorites.
When in the main menu I select one of the custom made favorite buttons and select a movie.....
And here it goes wrong..... It won't start the movie but will go into the directory like an explorer

So how can I setup correctly XBMC to auto play movies by selecting the foldername?
Can I create multiple folders (custom buttons for the main menu) which will auto start my movies just by selecting them?

Thanks for your support
(sorry for my english....It's not my mother tongue)

Have you tried this using playlists (wiki) or smart playlists (wiki) instead of favorites? Those should have the option of playing all their content.
