I just installed the latest nightly, because it seems XBMC suffers from network performance issues. Scanning music over LAN (a share on a Windows 2008 Server) takes forever. Whenever I want to clean up a music library, XBMC freezes (sometimes it recovers after a couple of minutes); no progress bar of the cleanup is beeing shown. The log shows nothing helpful. Network performance from Windows 7 to the Server is great (Gigabit Ethernet) outside of XBMC. XBMC on OS X in the same network works just perfect, so that must be something with the Windows version. Live TV does some buffering from time to time, which is kind of strange as well. Does anybody have a tip how to resolve the issue? Thanks a lot in advance!!
