Hi guys

I have been running xbmc on windows, and now going to the xbuntu version.

How do i edit the userdata folder and advanced advancedsettings.xml files in xbuntu screen.

Obviously it was just a case of edit then paste in the folder, not sure how i do this in xbuntu tho

Are you referring to XBMCbuntu or Xubuntu? If it's the former, then you can install a text editor such as Leafpad via Synaptic Package Manager. Switch to the XBMCbuntu desktop and select Start menu > System Tools > Synaptic Package Manager. If it's the latter, there should be a text editor preinstalled already.
