Not sure what has changed but all of a sudden my files won't play everything is choppy and plays at 3FPS.

same thing happened to me. Plays fine in VLC.

FYI it's playing fine in Windows Media Center w/Media Browser. So it's XBMC 100%

I changed zero settings and it was like this today.

edit: I rolled back system restore to two days ago and now it's fine. I don't know what happened.

I had a brief look at your log, it seems to be a problem with AE/WASAPI. There's a stick post regarding audio problems here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=146911 .

I have had this problem too. It appears (and maybe confirmed from another thread) that XBMC Frodo randomly changes the audio settings from AE/WASAPI on its own, which causes choppy playback.
