Wouldn't it be more logical to relocate all skin settings configuration data from ~HOME/userdata/guisettings.xml to ~HOME/addons/<name of skin>/settings.xml? Or to ~HOME/userdata/guisettings_<name of skin>.xml?

Failing that, to sort the <skinsettings> tag inside guisettings.xml in sub-tags named after the skin name, so that an XML savvy editor could quickly pick up and cut/copy all skin related settings?

idea has been there for longer time but no one found time to do this yet.
Maybe next version somewhere
