Win Channel icons unlinked after reboot
#1
1. In PVR settings, link channel logos to channels.
2. Apply changes
3. Go to Live TV and channel logos are shown as they should.
4. Reboot.
5. Go to Live TV
6. Channel logos are no longer linked and are not shown.

Also, automated search for channel icons does not work.

I searched the forums but couldn't find these issues reported. Is it my setup or a known Frodo RC3 bug? Thanks.

Btw Frodo is fantastic. You guys are certified geniuses!

Problem persists in Frodo final release. I found a workaround, which I'm sharing here in case I'm not the only one who is affected:

1. Instead of in channel manager, assign channel icon directly in Live TV through context menu.
2. Channel icon is NOT displayed.
3. Reboot
4. Go to Live TV. Channel icon is now displayed and permanently assigned.

I have no idea whether this is a Frodo or Aeon Nox issue. Although the workaround is tedious, at least there is one.

Thanks for that information, this has been ticking me off - I would have never thought to set the channel icon through the live tv!

One little item off the wife's irritation list! +1 for you eickmeyer!

I apologize if I'm missing something overly obvious, but how are you assigning channel icons while watching live TV? If I bring up the context menu while watching live TV, it just brings up the mini Chanel guide on the right hand side (I'm using aeon nox). Channel logos are one of my biggest pet-peeves - it was/is highly automated using mychannellogos for windows media center - I wish there was a similar option for xbmc! Mapping logos for 500+ channels is inconvenient at best.

Thanks in advance!
