I have a Intel NUC 8 GB RAM, 32 GB SSD with Windows 8.
To get a smooth play I set the playback so match refreshrate of video, this do give me nice flow. The problem is that the sound do not always sync and I will have to change it up to 400 ms. When turning off the match to video refresh rate or to matching Display I get a laggy playback but the audio is in sync.
So how should I set this up? The hardware should really not have any problem running 720p videos over LAN.
