In the case of Intel, it's really because they disable it in Celeron/Pentium. You could get an AMD A6-3500 or A6-5400K as others suggested and have 3D/Netflix but then you need to pay more attention to cooling and power draw and your mini-ITX motherboard and low-profile cooler choices are more limited that with the i3.
