I need help restoring my copy of xbmc, I had to reload windows on my PC so I updated from win7 to 8 and did a clean install. I have a full backup of my PC, and copied my entire xbmc appdata folder.
After getting windows 8 setup I installed XBMC 12, I had 12 rc3 before but I can't find a download for it now. I tried copying my userdata folder into the roaming\xbmc folder, but it's like I didn't do anything. I was under the impression that the userdata folder was the correct way to backup and restore, can someone help me out?
