There are myriad posts about streaming content between XBMC installations, but I haven't found just what Im looking for after trawling the forums. Here's the quick version; feel free to kick me in the right direction if there are posts Ive overlooked.
XBMC Frodo final on a 2012 Mac Mini.
Content is streamed from a ReadyNAS 4+
When outside of my home network I want to be able to access my content whether on an iPhone, iPad, or MBA. Are there XBMC 'clients' for each (I assume the MBA would get a full XMBC install) I can use to receive the stream? I know I'll need to grant port-level access outside of the network, and is this as easy as the web settings in the XMBC Settings interface?
If there's a guide published or if there's other detail I can provide, please do let me know.
Thanks everyone. Since cutting the cord I couldn't be happier with having XBMC at the heart of my setup.
