Dell Inspiron - No Outputs
#1
I have a dell inspiron all in one that i am trying to display on a tv. I ran an HTMI cable, but then realized that the hdmi on the back of the computer is input only. In fact, there are no output jacks at all. What is the best way to get my desktop to appear on the tv, as a remote monitor? I see there are usb to hdmi conversion devices, as well as usb to wireless setups - but would either or both of these work? Is there maybe another way that i am not aware of or not thinking of? thanks in advance for the help!

You must have the all-in-one HTPC. If there is no output, you might be stuck with the all-in-one touch screen.....

I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

I don't trust wireless for streaming 1080p video and HD audio....I links everything through wired network....but you can give it a try!
