I am not sure if this is a known issue, an issue on my end, or what, but whenever my pc goes to sleep I seem to be loosing gui sounds, if i play a file it works again and comes back....
Is this a bug, something to do with my own setup?
I am running frodo 12.1 now, amd 5800k, windows 7 64 bit.

You're running hdmi? It's a handshake windows problem.

Yes, but why does it cut back in when i play a file? Then its back.
I dont have to reboot or anything. Just play a file and gui sounds are back.
I believe bluray suggested gefen hdmi detective plus, I own one but that did nothing either.

Anyone have any idea or can possibly offer a suggestion on this issue or where to look?

Try using XBMCLauncher to close XBMC on suspend and reload it on wake.
Seems to solve a lot of STR problems with XBMC.
