Broadband speed for BBC iPlayer HD (in UK)

I am currently with Virgin media, 60Mbps service and can stream HD content from BBC iPlayer no problem. I could cut my bill down a bit by reverting to the 30Mbps service - so my question is, is anybody on this service and how is the playback quality on 30Mbps. Not interested in any online film rental service, all my films will be residing on an NAS on a Gbit internal network so only BBC iPlayer HD content (or any other on demand HD content) is critical.

In other words - is 30Mbps enough.

I believe the 'HD' videos on iPlayer are about 3Mbps. I watched a couple on my laptop when away over Christmas and only a 5Mb connection was available to me, I had no problems so 30Mbps is going to be absolutely fine.
