Hello everyone. I have mythtv 0.26 and using the latest xbmc pvr client and having some problems getting commercial skipping to work. Does anyone happen to know if this can be enabled using the xbmc client or do I need to use a script on the mythtv server? Also, does anyone happen to know how I can re-encode the recordings to x264 or similar compressed format? Thanks in advance for any info.

Not sure about any .26 specific issues b/c I am on .25 but here is what I have been working with this link but didnt fit my needs using a HDHOMERUN and I like Handbrake better so I am doing some trial and error with it, but generally it works.

I am also wondering if mythcommflag enabled recordings are working with this pvr addon. I havne't seen it work yet, hence me using a user job to remore the commercials and reencode into amore storage friendly format.

Thanks jwd. I actually tried getting that script to work a few weeks ago and had some problems on 0.26. Do you happen to have the commands used for handbrake? I'm also running a hdhomerun.
