Will I be able to get HD codec passthrough on this machine? 3D playback too? I´ve only seen SBS online soo far.. would it work for both that and FULL HD 3D without hickups?? Are the specs good enough?
I thought it was a must to have HDMI1.3.. but I can't see anything about the HDMI version.

The specs on that are quite similar to my PC (see my sig). The ION will do 1080p when setup properly, but it wont do HD audio. Haven't a clue about 3D.

What kind of 3D are you looking for. If it is SBS or OU 3D then they will play and you don't even need a 3D ready GPU. The TV will do the 3D conversion. For 3D blu-ray disk playback, you will need a GPU that supports 3D.
