I am trying to transition the majority of my HTPC's to Linux for ease of use/maintenance. I get most of the premium channels with Comcast and many of them are copy protected and only work in WMC. Is there anyway to get these channels in XBMC, perhaps using XBMC to tune a cable card attached to a WMC and just view the stream?

My concern is not recording, I want to be able to view streams which I cannot currently using XBMC and NextPVR (ie - Premium Movie channels). Additionally this solution appears to rely on WMC on the client machines too

Wmc is your only choice for premium content
