I installed and was enabling some video addons last night and now XBMC freezes up and times out every time I try to do something as simply navigate through the menus.
It seems I can go into the system screen and navigate around a bit, but if I try to watch something off the local network, or if I go into Addons, the screen freezes and I can't navigate anywhere. If I right click a few times, the Windows dialog box comes up saying XBMC has stopped responding. At that point I can close out of it.
I can't recall exactly what video addon it was now and I can't get in to see it since it freezes before I can get to it, but it had something to do with enabling a bunch of web links. I think it was xstream?
Anyway, i dont want to have to uninstall and reinstall XBMC and start all over. I've tried restarting multiple times and it doesn't help
Is there something I can do to get around this? Would deleting the xstream addon folder do anything?
