Music issues, i have 2 folders...1 for concerts and 1 for music .

Inside the concert folder i have some of the concerts in there own folder and some just within the main folder. Issue is that XBMC will show the intial concert folders but nothing inside nor any of the concerts that are not in folders.

For the music folder, it wont show anything

the folders are shared and if you go into the network you can find the shared folders and all the contents just not with XBMC

any thoughts??

Are the folders shared with Homegroup or Everyone? You should share with "Everyone". Then add the primary folder as a SMB source to XBMC. After the source is added, you should be able to browse it fully.

That is exactly how i did all the folders, the movies and the pictures are just fine its just the concerts and audio files that are being a pain. not sure why the concerts wont see all the files in the main folder just the individual folders and all the rest are missing ( about 50-60 avi files) that are not in folders at all
