Hi All,

Recently got my hands on an HP dc7800p se and put xbmc ubuntu v11 (v12 wouldnt install, but everything i need is on v11).

Everything works as expected, except the sound.

I'm a usually a Windows person, so have no idea where to start. I did log into the OS, but there's very little on it. Just the AMD catalyst software.


All suggestions welcome.

Did you try to change the sound output device in the XBMC system settings?

Did you also try pressing the +/= key repeatedly to increase the volume?
