Some how while setting up and learning XBMC I set one of my addons so that it appears as an icon on the homepage. How did I do it? ......and How can it be undone?

System/Settings > Appearance > Skin > - Settings > Add-on Shortcuts and remove the entry under the appropriate "Home Page ... Sub menu" section.
