I will say too there's a big "wow" factor when you present someone with a 7.8" x 7.8" x 3" PC that is going to replace their big beige tower system and you tell them it's going to run 10x faster, be almost silent and use less than electricity than a 40W light-bulb. It really makes people feel happy and good about what they just received.

+1.

Efficiency is not about lowering the bill. I was not only replacing my PCs with energy efficient ones, but also my light bulbs, my air conditioners, my car and its fuel etc. It's a drastic change in my lifestyle. Why? I don't know. Because I can? Big Grin

2. I don't want it to heat up my TV-cabinet.
3. Why not? If it does the job and wastes less electricity, that's a double win.

I find it cool how to talk about wasting less electrictiy, yet you let your HTPC on all the time... having an HTPC running all the time IS a waste.

Unless it's a RPi Laugh

Efficiency is bliss.
