Hi,

is it possible to add a custom button to the player osd with which one can open a custom window/dialog?
Can someone tell me how this can be done or does anyone know an existing addon that has already did that?

You'd need to edit the skin. You could create your own window with a transparent background (and maybe only one button) and set it's visible condition to the same as the osd, but then you'd have to get it looking right for different skins and etc
