so at the moment i am running xbmc from my raspberry pi, and it works really really well. very stable, but a bit slow in the UI and starting videos.

i need to get another, but i was hoping to get another development board to tinker with, still with the end goal of running XBMC.


so what would people here recommend?

Odroid, cubieboard, wandboard, hackberry, beagleboard, something else?

We're you using the new revision of the board with the extra ram? I have the original one and have considered picking up the new one in hopes of fixing that same sluggishness.

Avoid anything Allwinner. Maybe something Amlogic?
