I want to use frontend MythTV or HTS
with my sat receiver in the local network in spite of a DVB PCI Satcard

is it possible ??
When I put the IP of the sat receiver in the MythTV setting
I get a message "Failed to connect to MythTV backend"

And I don't know these Live TV stream if they come from Astra or Hotbird ?

Are you saying your Sat receiver runs mythtv? I somehow doubt it.
