W8, AMD Audio card (6450); Denon AVR Receiver
I have setup the audio output in XBMC to WASAPI HDMI AMD Output.
This works perfectly fine. If I switch to DirectSound HDMI AMD output, it does not work: the video shutter.
The issues: some times the audio XBMC Settings are reset to DirectSound. I have to change them back manually to wasapi and sometimes reboot to make it work.
My question: is there anyway to make the wasapi settings sticky in XMBC or to deactivate the direct sound?
