I have added an FTP Source and use my MacBook to connect to media NAS at home
I can access the source ok and play media but media scrapping is not working.

Looking at my MacBook I only have the Universal Scraper listed and am unable to
install addons .... has anyone produced a guide to get this working

SOLVED ...... for those with the same problem here's how I fixed my issue

System -> System Info -> Network
I noticed that Internet was not connected ..... disabled Connect via HTTP Proxy in System -> Settings - > System -> Internet
Exit XBMC then restart

For the missing addons;
System -> Settings -> Addons -> Get Addons -> ...... right click on XBMC.org Addons -> Force Refresh ......... and voila !!
