#1
Hi, there,

I am new to XBMC, I want to install XMBC in my embedded system(linux 2.6.30.10) and make it as dlna client. what I want to realize is to implement a dlna audio player in my development board.

can anyone show me the exact steps?
or can anyone tell me other tools than XMBC which can be as dlna audio player in embedded system(linux 2.6.30.10).

many thanks!

I am not 100% clear whther you are after a DLNA media player or server. I will proceed on the basis you want a player/client. I doubt XBMC will run because it needs a 3D accelerated graphics card.

I suggest you try djmount http://djmount.sourceforge.net/ which will give you filesystem level access to all your uPnP services. Then you can use whatever player you like.
