Hello everyone,

I've now XBMC installed on my Raspberry Pi with Openelec, and i have XBMCRemote app on my iPhone.
I'm able with my Master User profile to pilote XBMC via UPnP from my iphone to my TV, this is working fine and smoothly

i've created a second profile for my children, activated all the things in the System section, but once i switch to the Children profile, the XBMCRemote on the iPhone is not working anymore, the app is saying No connection with a red dot.
and at the moment i switch back to the Master User profile, the remote is back again and working correctly.

do you have any idea?

To my knowledge, a different profile means a different UPnP instance.
You need to either remap the remote every time you switch profiles or use two different apps to control the Pi (one for each profile).
You could also use HTTP to control the pi instead, though then you need to make sure your router DHCP does not change the IP address of the pi.

thank you for this help.
by adding the HTTP protocol, it resolved the issue and i can now switch to different profile without loosing the XBMCRemote integration.
