Just tried playing my first movie all the way through using my new XBNC rig (running on MacBook), and 47 minutes in the picture crawled almost to a stop, clicking along at maybe 5% normal rate, then sort of sped up to maybe half speed, then almost normal rate but no audio. Weirdly i could rewind and it would play back fine until that exact point was reached, then the same problem exactly as before.
I assumed it was an encoding problem, but the movie plays back perfectly in VLC, all the way through.
Not sure yet whether this is the shape of things to come... anyone seen this problem?
