I am a rookie with this so please bare with me. I purchased a cheap no name Android 4.0 (Model TVP-D2) stick from deal extreme. It has an ARM Cortex A5 1.2 ghz processor and is running ICS 4.0.4.
It seems to be running some custom version of ICS. In any event, everything else on it works fine. I know it has a NEON capability and have downloaded the set top (I've tried them all even the touch versions) of XBMC and the viewer and have installed them. The first round I get the '1st run' bar which completes fine. Once I am in XBMC, I am able to start clicking around but whether I click around or just do nothing, after about 10-15 seconds XBMC just closes and i'm back to my Android desktop. This continues to happen if I try again.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get around this annoying problem? I know there must be someone out these that would help a bit of an Android newbie!
