So I ended up buying off ebay plugged it in today working good but I went to the apps and didn't see xbmc! I'm curious I thought it came with it preloaded here I received paperwork in my box saying installing other versions of xbmc is not recommended. It doesn't have it now does anybody have an idea

Where did you buy it? Does it have the GBox logo on it or just MX? Possible you purchased the generic model made by the manufacturer.
