1. We use Trac ( http://trac.xbmc.org ) for bug reports, and we encourage people to check in the forums before filing a formal report. We don't use github for bug reports.

It's not even a bug but a request which also does not belong in this thread. So if you want it make a proper request on the forum with more details than just some link

@airtonix, I think that you should post the request on Trac + as a new thread in the JSON-RPC subforum

http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=174

Montellese will then probably add it to the TODO list there to highlight it if it's a good request

To be fair to airtonix, I can see how this is confusing. I'm not that familiar with how other projects use github, but I do know that we are a bit unique in our set up (due to some annoying issues with how github handles issues tracking). But yes, please post about this to the JSON-RPC forum so Montellese (our JSON-RPC guru) can see it.

Still no reason to do such a poor request. Even the one on github lacked any detail. Just a link crying I want.
There's also a link on top when you hit new issue which clearly states what github is used for.

Maybe so, but for all involved, I hope there's no hard feelings. What is clear to us might not be clear to an outsider. I'm quickly seeing that with my own issue with people over-requesting wiki accounts when all they want to do is download XBMC (which does not require a wiki account). *shrug*
