Evening guys,
So I've been introduced to XBMC and I'm amazed. Hundreds of Movies, TV Shows, News Channels and music all readily available.
Its all well and good having hundreds of movies on tap, but I'm one of those people who likes to have their own library of movies so i can quickly select a good movie to watch, without trawling through all the BS RomComs etc etc.
I cant see how this can be with XBMC, if im wrong can someone point me in the right direction as how to setup a library of movies?
Thanks

Wiki. ..read...Wiki...read.
Forums. .read..more forums read..
Youtube..watch...watch some more..
Then decide if its for you..
But in saying that once you get over the main hurdles. .you may never look back..
My 2cents worth..

XBMC is designed to be used with your own library of movies. XBMC provides zero content. We do not have hundreds of movies, TV shows, or news channels. We do not have any romcom's.
There are websites like 1chan, icefilms, etc, that provide streaming pirated content. We have nothing to do with that, and we ban people from discussing it on our website,
To the person that introduced you to XBMC, please kindly inform them of this as well. We're kind of fed up with people associating XBMC with garbage.
Feel free to use XBMC with a library of files on your hard drive, or one of our many community supported add-ons that provide legal streaming content. While our software might not prevent you from obtaining pirated content, please stop associating XBMC with pirated content. We are a player and interface, not the content.

There is now some annoying "first run" popup that explains the left arrow menu - should it also say "RTFM" and point to a suitable wiki beginners page?
