Playback is stocking
#1
Hi @ all.
I have a Zotac ID86 mini-pc (2x1,86 GHz), 4 GB RAM and 32 GB SSD-HDD.
It runs with ubuntu 13.04 and XBMC. I am also using a Sundtek DVB-S2 usb-tv adapter. All is working fine.

I only have a problem with a playback of one movi in full-hd. The playback (picture and audio) is stocking. If I check the usage:
CPU is about 50% and RAM is about 25%. So normaly it should work.
The movie was stored first on my NAS and then I copied on the SSD. Same effect.
Who can help? Any settings?

50% means only one core is used and this one is maxed out.
I guess hardware acceleration is not enabled.

In XBMC both possibilities of the hardware accelleration are enabled.
The graphic card is a nvidia gt610. Anything to set in os (ubuntu 23.04)?

I am using a wired connection with a gigabit switch and a DNS-323 NAS. The NAS is slow but for one playback its ok. Different other devices don't have problems with the playback.

The setting in xbmc should be ok. There are only two checkboxes to enable the video accelleration or not?

I have read something about the vdap driver for the video card. Which is the actual and how to install. I read many threats but the versions are very old...

Do you have the nvidia binary drivers installed? What is the output of
Code:
dpkg -l nvidia*
