I am torn between going with a Shuttle XH61V (i3-3220T) (approx: 275€) with fans
or getting a passive Intel Nuc (D33217GKE) (approx: 365€).
The shuttle gives me better expansion options, performance for almost 100€ less. The reviews say that it is basically silent (not sure about that, with 2x60mm fans...)
The passive Nuc is completely silent, but has "worse" performance, and less upgrade options - as well as more expensive.
I could also go with a Celeron 847 (approx: 255£), but I would prefer the more beefier i3, since it will be running other things than xbmc.
