Disabling pulse and a stupid question
#1
Hi community,

I have two questions
If I lets say compile XBMC from scratch (daily builds) and disable pulse but leave alsa, how it will work.. If a device is used by pulse I guess it won't be available to XBMC or else?

The other question is rather stupid. There used to be (and still is I guess) an small info pop-up on the top right corner during full screen that showed only the time like the one that appears when XBMC is paused. Not the big info that appears when one presses I(nfo). I cannot remember the key to activate it or the remote.xml command for it and I want to map it on my CEC.

Thanks
Niki

if you already have a pulseenabled version, just do:
Code:
AE_ENGINE=Soft xbmc

or with recent nightlies:
Code:
AE_ENGINE=Active xbmc

Then you can see yourself.

No idea for the second part :-)
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
